The Enterprise Acceleration Centre is located on the campus of Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT). The EAC building, which has a total area of 1,338 square metres, opened at the end of the first quarter of 2006.

By locating in our building, indigenous start-up companies benefit from our resources and facilities, and have all the advantages of larger companies in terms of ability to impress customers which can be critical in winning orders for business.

Our ‘product’ is a fully serviced small office and research environment to stimulate business success that encompasses:

1. Business accommodation.
2. Information Technology including broadband and IT technical support.
3. Shared reception area, Boardroom and meeting room.
4. Restaurant.
5. Office centre including managed print facility.
6. Videoconferencing (on campus).
7. Access to consultancy, mentoring and business support networking.
   
8. Conduit to services provided by Enterprise Ireland.
9. Access to collaborative research with LIT.
10. Microsoft BizSpark Network Partner

The EAC has 18 self contained incubator units which are on average 25 square metres each (equivalent to 275 square foot) which can comfortably accommodate from 1 to 4 persons. The EAC can facilitate client companies who grow and develop to occupy 2 adjacent units if required. See section in QuickLinks for pictures and other details of these units.

The reception provides a bright spacious environment for informal meetings between client companies and customers and suppliers.
