Supports for 3rd Level & Companies to facilitate commercialisation and collaboration

Plato Mid-West and Supply Network Shannon  in association with Limerick Institute of Technology and the University of Limerick hosted an afternoon seminar on Thursday 2nd April for start up entrepreneurs and established businesses to focus on the supports available in Ireland for research commercialisation, industry/3rd level collaboration and technology transfer.

Held in Thomond Park, the seminar provided an overview of what Ireland’s 3rd level sector can offer business; outlined the Funding Opportunities for R&D and Innovation; and presented case studies of how this works in practice from the viewpoint of two companies based in the Enterprise Acceleration Centre.
