LIT announce details of START UP BOOT CAMP 43

The Enterprise Acceleration Centre is delighted to announce September 22nd 2007 as the date for the 3rd Mid-West Start Up Boot Camp, an intensive one-day learning workshop to assist entrepreneurs to set up their own business.

Enterprise Acceleration Centre Manager, Donncha Hughes said that Limerick Institute of Technology is delighted to again collaborate with Brian O’Kane, author and webmaster of the hugely popular www.startingabusinessinireland.com  to bring this hugely popular and successful full day programme to the Enterprise Acceleration Centre on Saturday, 22nd September building on the success of last year when START-UP BOOT CAMPs were held on successive Saturdays in November. The sessions were attended by 36 'budding entrepreneurs' from from Limerick, Clare and Tipperary.  

Mr Hughes added:  “Starting a new business with the potential to succeed requires a good business idea, ambitious and effective management, and finance. This intensive workshop will provide clear guidance to participants on tackling the key issues facing business owners during start-up. LITs’ Enterprise Acceleration Centre assists people with strong business ideas to develop successful businesses. We believe that management development is the bedrock of success for small business and that participation at the START UP BOOT CAMP is an excellent way to start the process of setting up a business.”

Brian O’Kane, Managing Director of Oak Tree Press said that he is looking forward to returning to Limerick Institute of Technology to deliver what will  be the 43rd START UP BOOT CAMP. He added that the aims and objectives of the START UP BOOT CAMP compliment the ethos and activity of the Enterprise Acceleration Centre. He explained that START-UP BOOT CAMP 43 includes:
